Ship Cost Effectively!

The cost of shipping perishable cheese by International Courier from The Netherlands is expensive, it is most cost effective to ship at least 3 lbs. 5 ounces / 1500 grams per box, to lower the shipping cost per item, because the cost is computed more by the space your box will take on the plane than by the weight.

Currently you only have 14 oz. / 400g in your cart.

We recommend that you add some more items to make the shipping more cost effective before you checkout by clicking on the button 'Continue shopping'.

Or if you wish you can always checkout now by clicking on the button 'Proceed to checkout'

Shipping

Please read first!

A note to our international gourmets. As our products are perishable, we must ship by express courier, which is not inexpensive. Be aware that since your package will travel by plane, the cost is calculated more by the space it takes on the plane than by the actual weight. Consequently, it is most economical to ship at least three 400 gram cheeses or gourmet items per order or one assortment per order or multiples of those in order to get the most value for your money. We have several sizes of boxes, it never makes sense to ship a half empty box internationally. Shipping costs are transparent; you pay only our cost.

How do you ship my perishable items?

We ship all perishable items using an advanced packing system that employs insulated, sealed containers and chilled cool packs to keep your items at the proper shipping temperature.  Whenever possible we vacum seal each item just prior to packing, fill the packing voids with foam packaging peanuts to reduce the air content of the box, and place your order in a specially designed, insulated box along with food safe reusable chilled coolant packs. We make every effort to ensure that your selections arrive fresh and delicious.  Finally, we also only offer shipping services that will deliver within 48 hours or less if your order contains perishable items.

Other Frequently Asked Questions about Shipping.

How do you determine the Shipping Costs?

During the checkout process, our system receives the shipping costs directly from the respective couriers rating systems and is displayed at our cost with no margin added. Naturally the costs reflect the weight of the package and the distance it must travel from our location.

Why can I not schedule a delivery for a weekend, a Monday, and sometimes Tuesday?

Couriers do not deliver on weekends except by special request. To prevent your package sitting in storage over a weekend, we will not schedule deliveries on a Monday or after a two day holiday. If you have selected a delivery service that takes more than 24 hours we will not schedule a delivery for a Tuesday, as your shipment would sit in storage over the weekend. If you require special delivery on a weekend, please note during final checkout and we will contact you with your options and extra costs. NOTE: For shipments to America, US Customs - at random - will stop and inspect inbound packages, and this will usually add an additional day to the shipping time, this possible delay is beyond our courier's control or our control.
